Be Prepared!

We now know more definitively that it only takes O-N-E to spell D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!! The need for preparation is always imminent as is the need to be prepared for after a disaster.

YOUR EVACUATION PLAN should be at the ready with preparations including a “Grab and Go” scenario in place.

   1. Medical supplies: prescription medications and dentures
   2. Disaster supplies: flashlight, batteries, radio, first aid kit, bottled water.
   3. Clothing and bedding: a change of clothes and a sleeping bag or bedroll and pillow for each household member
   4. Car keys and keys to the place you may be going( friend’s or relative’s home)

There are important papers to take with you in the event that you have to evacuate.

  4. Insurance papers
