Teamwork: Rebuilding Lives and Rebuilding Homes
|
|
Volunteers have been the key element of this vital ministry which is helping to repair and rebuild homes, churches and lives damaged by the disasters in South Louisiana.
Since the Louisiana United Methodist Disaster Response began to tackle relief and recovery efforts in South Louisiana, we have been bringing hope
and assistance to those affected by the storms of 2005 and 2008. We have with the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ:
Hosted more than 92,742 volunteers
Who provided more than 4 million hours of labor
For a combined value of more than $83.4 million
The people of Louisiana and the United Methodist church want to say to all the people who have demonstrated generosity and compassion…
“Thank you – we couldn’t have done it without you”We have a new volunteer opportunity. A tornado damaged homes in Rayne, a small community in south Louisiana. We need volunteers to help with this project
in order to do the ministry God has called us to do.
Come to Louisiana – we will show you how to “pass a good time” as you
Help people reclaim their lives, their homes and community.
Your life will be changed and so will ours - we guarantee it.
TEAMWORK: REBUILDING HOMES AND LIVES!
Can We Count On You?
